When I have installed this software for navigate or browse internet, this is suddently very slow, with wordpress.com and other social network, or platform… I don’t know why ?

It may be related to Javascript queries. Does it also happen on other browsers for the same websites (like netsurf, palemoon, etc.)?

Hmm ok ! So I need to desactivate some JS … My bad. Thank you ! Do you know an lighning and fast web-browser on antix ? Not chrome or firefox … Maybe Midori or an another GTK browser.

Recently we got a new addition to the antiX repos, badwolf browser. You can enable or disable JavaScript for every page. It is a bit too simple for most users, because it doesn’t save any data (no cookies) and it doesn’t save any bookmarks. I think it is translated to French (I even think the developer is French, but I am not sure).
You can install it with
sudo apt install --install-recommends badwolfIt will add an entry named “badwolf” to the internet category in the menus.
If you don’t like it, remove it with
sudo apt purge badwolfPPC, another forum member, and me are trying to compile a new version with a startpage available so one can save their bookmarks there, but it will take some time.
Many report palemoon to be light and fast. You can find it in the package installer app.
