Hello antixfriends ! Anyone know if I can disable the : “Configuring network interfaces…ifup: waiting for lock on /run/network/ifstate.eth0” because this is taking a lot of time when I’m loading the antix system.
And how do I disable this???
Thanks !
Hi amolinux,
I think that you can run ceni and set the eth0 for allow hot-plug instead of auto to stop that.
ceni is in the control-centre and under internet in the menu. But then you would have to
run “ifdown eth0” and “ifup eth0” each time you plug an ethernet cable in.
The ifdown and ifup have to be run from a root terminal or with sudo.
Thanks @linuxddady I changed on ceni the eth0 to manual, now everything is ok and fast on boot! Regards
