Thanks to the great work done by MX Linux user and forum member aledie, we now have a substantial number of mirrors to download iso files from and also use for setting your default location for the antiX deb repositories.
Take a look.

Plus an antiX buster repo once Debian has frozen their buster repo.

::Spain, Galicia
deb http://ftp.uvigo.es/MX-Packages/antix/stretch/ stretch main nosystemd nonfreeThe packages in this mirror are not signed, and apt-get reports them as insecure, inviting you to decline the update. I went ahead regardless on my monthly update run. Can I take it that this is just an administrative shortcoming and that all is well with the packages?

::roland, you are talking about this ?

You have to update the antix-archive-keyring as described also here

::Yes I was referring to that solution which I did read through, but failed to realise it was a fix for my problem. Thanks for pointing it out to me.

::It seems as the mirrors gave up in trying to sync with antix, after so many days of being down, and they all have no release files.
I wonder if this is related to restructuring for buster getting stable?anti-X - Adélie - obarun - systemd Free Space

I wonder if this is related to restructuring for buster getting stable?I don’t think the mirrors have been affected for example the University of Crete one works fine.

::fungalnet,no mirrors are affected here, even though antixlinux.com is still down.
If your sources.list do not have a release-file, then there’s something wrong with your lists.
Assuming you’ve updated the antix-archive-keyring from the link above.Maybe post inxi -r.

::It was just yesterday someone was asking at reddit r/mxlinux about antix being down and I showed them the mirrorlist and I myself used them instead of the antixlinux.com on my sid installation.
I do have the new keyring installed, where I screwed up is after the repository …./testing/ main …. instead of …/testing/ testing main …- This reply was modified 4 years ago by fungalnet.

::Did you use repo-manager ? I’ve seen this behaviour on sid and testing with repo-manager.

::No, never used it, always manual 🙂
It is weird that the day before I did it on one installation and worked right away. Then I edited this one and just couldn’t tell what was wrong. So it was easier to blame the mirror.anti-X - Adélie - obarun - systemd Free Space
