I am I missing something here? When I plug in an USB stick drive there is no automount and I cannot see the drive. Never had this problem before and I have been using Antix for a couple of years. Something changed perhaps?
Please help as I cannot use my files.

Control Centre > Disks > Configure Automount

If you have ntfs file system, use rox-filer as root.
If you have exfat, you have to manually mount the drive.
(There is a post somewhere in the forum about this)

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

Hi and many thanks. All new to me, must be because I moved to version 19. I am not using windoze. File system is ext4 but I cannot anything to work using automount GUI.
This has never been a problem before. Is this a result of upgrade perhaps or am I being dumb today.
I can work with cli but it shouldn’t have to be this way. Any ideas what is going wrong?

Maybe make sure the owner ID is the same, & that the permissions are correct.

When you installed 19, did you keep your /home directory for use in the new system(?).

you should confirm that devmon is installed and running.
