I’ve been modding a few themes. This one is a mutation of the Midday-Medium Theme- I removed lots of unneeded stuff, and tweaked the window decoration icons, the start menu icon and a few other things- I’m still working on it, but I think it’s a nice modern theme, that might appeal to people used to other OSes and also to antiX old timers…
This version of the theme is very near finished…

– the unfocused window title name and title icons (minimize, maximize, close) are greyed out, just like the title, so users can easily see what’s the focused window
– the close button glows in bright red if the mouse pointer hovers on it
– The currently selected menu entry and focused window icon on the toolbar have the same “degadré” blue colours, that match the single blue colour for the selected Workspace
– As in the original theme, if you click, on the “show desktop icon”, on the symbol of the toolbar, you minimize all windows. click on the space above it (but still inside the “icon”) and you get back all your windows.
– You get intuitive Exit, suspend and restart IceWM icons (kept from the original Theme).(To do: I need to find a matching “lock desktop” icon)
– I made the icons on the menu smaller, so the menu takes less space, but I enlarged the menu font, so everything is easy to read, even if you have bad eye sight.
– The theme is about 100kb, uncompressed (and some 15% of that is the text of the GNU licence)P.

Changes:
– Added new “lock” icon
– Included new “search” icon, that can be used in app-select’s entry on the menu (so it better matches the “power button” on the bottom of the menu)
– Hovering above the “minimize” or “maximize/restore” buttons turns their background blue (it’s the theme’s accent colour, so that makes sense)P.
And for those that like lighter Themes, here is a light version of FX (not completely perfect, but fully usable as is)

Here is the “finished” light version, in case anyone is interested.
Selecting a dark/light theme and using lxappearance to select Arc/Arc-Dark Widgets (managing the way window’s content are displayed) is a two step way of having antiX in “Dark mode”/”Light Mode” (that can be complemented with changing the wallpaper)
