This is a great example of how sharing allows each of us to customize our own systems, even if the appearance items and precise features are not included in the initial release of the system software. Thank you all for sharing what you have been doing to modify the appearance to fit the screen size and viewing habits that you prefer. Nice work, we have quite a few very creative artists within our user community!

Ok, Hopefully I got the menu button on Huge fixed.
I also created a MAC version of medium.
So I’ll post Medium and Huge in this post, and the others in the next

Thanks to Xecure for help with the menu buttons, which are now both better and more space efficient. I put the 5 themes into a “themepack” containing all 5 and onlt one copy of the GPL. Hopefully that is acceptable practice, as the GPL was larger than the files.
I finalized the theme today and sent it to anticapitalista. I decided to replace the “small” version with Moddit’s favorite, so now that one is called “Small”, and the super thin one is called “SmallThin” . That will save a little disk space if he decides to include it in the distro. Thanks to Xecure for the nicer Logo button.

Super thin is still favourite, has been providing maximum usable screen area since first tests.Lean and mean :-).
I fixed some frame and border problems Xecure found. I emailed these to anti for antiX21

Looks nice and clean, but I am not a fan of this flat design trend. I would really appreciate a default Antix theme again that has some depth to it. Maybe next year 🙂

Create a file ~/.icewm/prefoverride and put this in it. After you change the value, restart IceWM from the little side menu off logout for it to take effect. I liked metal best myself

Hi all, specially @BobC. Thanks for this theme and for all your work and effort on that.
I just checked this thread and I am very interested in testing this 4k theme in a big screen. I have one at home.
I was looking for instructions to install these theme on AntiX with no success. Could you please provide some URL or a procedure to install and test this theme?. In addition, it is important to us HDMI for sound in this case. I did not find a way to activate using command center and alsa mixer. HDMIs display are becoming “legacy” also and I fell important to support this on AntiX.
Note: after “googling” about this fluxbox themes. I decompressed provided theme and moved it to /usr/share/fluxbox/styles. It does not appear in desktop setting->themes…
HDMI Sound is not working at all. Tested script provided in https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/sound-issues/ no suceess.

Francisco, These themes are now included with antiX 21, but they are only for the IceWM window manager. If you change your desktop to one of the ones using IceWM, you will be able to select these themes. They are not available for Fluxbox, JWM, or Herb

I have tested them via my profil user: /home/user/.icewm/themes/antiX-Magic-SmallAnd modified for my eepc the antiX-Magic-Small (with a VistaBlack-brown-style menu)
