::- Just for info sharing
I edited the default.theme file and also removed some *.xpm files that were inside the taskbar folder leaving only workspacebuttonactive.xpm and workspacebuttonbg.xpm.
I used mtPaint Graphic Editor to edit the colors inside workspacebuttonactive.xpm & workspacebuttonbg.xpm
Below I have indicated where I edited in the default.theme file to apply the dark purple color #131639 (“rgb:13/16/39”)

::I like the purple boat one.
Sorry, been working night and day for the past 8 weeks.
I’m not a big fan of the blue day theme. It isn’t designed to work well on laptops, and that’s why I created the antiX Magic set of themes.

::@BobC, the antiX Magic themes fit my needs way better than blue day.

Nice to hear from you @BobC. As far as various themes, that’s exactly what freely available choices are all about. The entire GNU ecosystem is designed to promote variety and choice, whether the choice is as simple as varying the appearance or as complicated as replacing the kernel, utilities, job scheduling methods, init systems, or all of the above. antiX is a perfect example of creating a work that is well suited to a lean, efficient system that is nevertheless flexible as well as free.
