Hello all! It’s nice to be here.

I was using PCLinuxOS for my main system when the graphics chip on the laptop burned up. So I retrieved its predecessor, the Thinkpad in my sig, and needed a supported 32 bit distro. One of the guys at the PCL forum suggested AntiX, so here we are.

Besides supporting 32 bit CPUs, I like the fact that you’re systemd free and based on Debian. The repository has everything that I’ve wanted. I’m an electrical engineer and use a lot of technical software routinely; titles like Octave, GnuRadio, 4NEC2, Python, C, MPLAB-X, Arduino, KiCAD, to name a few. I’m also an amateur radio operator (K8GN).

So I’ve been using this distro for about a month and I’m still getting used to it. But, so far, so good. I like it!

I agree! 32-bit support, all my necessary programs, and a friendly forum: it’s (to me) what Linux should be all about. Welcome aboard!
