I’m looking at kernels post 4.9.160, up to 4.9.212 so far (for context)
Not that is really matters. Since conntrack is deprecated, is the compatibility layer, iptables-nft, the only way to move forward with a nftables foundation? In this case, there is no systemctl option, nft cant invoke (or start) an a firewall at the command prompt. An init script might work.I guess. Maybe, just as soon as the nftables documentation is cleaned up.
Any thoughts?
Maybe this is a chicken and egg problem.
Few things as strong as a well-timed idea.
