4.4.240-antix.1-686-smp-pae is the only 4.4.240 antiX kernel I can see in Synaptic.

It is there though no idea why synaptic is not showing it.
        How about using cli-aptiX?

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

The problem is the amd64.deb at the end of the file. APT has set the architecture to i386, so it will ignore all amd64 built .deb packages (and only accepts i386.deb and all.deb).

I realized this is an issue for other 4.X.XXX 486 versions. I remember a few months ago that something similar happend.

Well spotted! I’ll rebuild a new deb

After that, I downloaded the deb file and tried:

So, I suppose there’s nothing else to do until anticapitalista rebuild it.

linux-image-4.4.240-antix.2-486-smp is already there, in Synaptic. I installed it and it seems to be OK. Many thanks.
