      I lost my internet connection and mistakenly thought it was because I switched to a different ISP.
      After reading the forum, I happily discovered that the problem was caused by a recent antix update which I had applied immediately before I switched to the new ISP and modem.
      I applied the fix and now I have internet again.
      Here is the fix that I applied:
