      Greetings everyone, I’m new here.
I vould not find a solution in the other posts I found, so I am starting a new topic.

I’m running antiX22 and I am not getting any sound in my browser of chouice: Librewolf.
      Sound works fine in firefox.

When launched from term i see the following..
…when playing a random webm file the browser:

[Child 21752, MediaDecoderStateMachine #1] WARNING: 7f70772e5820 OpenCubeb() failed to init cubeb: file /work/librewolf-110.0.1-1/dom/media/AudioStream.cpp:281

Am I missing a package (module / codec) or what?
I’m not linux savy. please be gentle…

EDIT: Never mind. It was fixed by installing pulseaudio and reinstalling librewolf

Without details it is hard to give a complete and sane answer.

Sound with alsa and apulse working fine as usual, LibreWolf latest.

The below error from your post points to the sound device being incorrectly set
which is why you had no output.

        MediaDecoderStateMachine #1] WARNING: Decoder=7f4de2a84f00 [OnMediaSinkAudioError]:
        file /work/librewolf-110.0.1-1/dom/media/MediaDecoderStateMachine.cpp:4505

          Hello,

I use Librewolf and I do not have pulse audio installed – use of alsa alone.

Librewolf 111 gave no sound. Newer 112 versions work again. There was obviously some bug in 111 version.
