      hi,

I’m running anti-X on a little Samsung all in one PC, with the screen my panasonic TV over HDMI

After looking through all the sound settings twice, I can’t see how to get sound working. In the sounds settings from control panel, the volume bar is greyed out and stuck at zero and the inputs page is empty. The devices bar is also blank and appears collapsed. My guess is that there’s some kind of driver missing, but I do not know much about the subject

I’ve looked at a few forum questions on the issue, but they’re all either old or seem to be slightly different

Happy to include any extra information upon request, as I’m not exactly sure what I should include myself

      thanks!

        Hello ParentSiblingCross,

please read and try to apply the path I have outlined on your device, changing the commands according to your findings:

        1.) https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/antix-23-alpha1-runit-full-64bit-for-testing/page/21/#post-101313

        2.) https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/antix-23-alpha1-runit-full-64bit-for-testing/page/21/#post-101315

        3.) https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/antix-23-alpha1-runit-full-64bit-for-testing/page/22/#post-101396

This should bring up your HDMI sound output also on antiX 21/22.

Have you tried F6 key in alsamixer gui to switch to the hdmi soundcard device?
