Please be advised that antiX,v17.4.1_386-full will NOT boot from iso that has been loaded on “MultiBootUSB” flash drive. Same thing applies to previous version. No problem with loadind, and using, other iso’s on that drive. BTW-I’m running linux Mint-MATE,19.1,64b. Thank you.

You’ll have to ask MultiBootUSB to fix it so it boots.

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

if this topic had a less generic title, would fit well in Tips-n-Tricks
(awareness of a known incompatibility would spare others from struggling with MultiBootUSB)

… will NOT boot from iso that has been loaded on “MultiBootUSB”

It’s like saying: Can’t install GIMP 2.10.8 in Windows 10.
            Where’s the exact version/subversion/build …
            I make my multi-boot USB’s with YUMI.
            For BIOS/Compatibility mode.

              Hi tosim,

I have this version installed here
              https://github.com/mbusb/multibootusb/releases/download/v9.2.0/python3-multibootusb_9.2.0-1_all.deb

and it boots antix17.4.1_64-full and antix17.3.1_386-full without problems,
if I chose the load GRUB2 BootManager – option

It will not boot MX-Linux, though.

Thanks to y’all for the replies:
caprea-I’ved used MBUSB since it came out, but never had used(nor need of Grub2),however, that did the trick. I use same v you have in your reply, and it opened the 32b, and g64b versions(using Grub2). Thanks again.

noClue-YHou are 100% correct. I do some tech assist in several forums, and (really) post proper info, just as you suggest. However, the only excuse I can offer this time, is that I was in n extreme hurry to post the problem, shut down, and get moving. Thank you.
