Hello, dear colleagues! All right?
Before my presentation, I anticipate my apologies if any word or phrase goes out of context or makes a bad impression, as I don’t speak English and I have to translate through Google Translate.
My name is Matheus Motareli, I live in a city in the State of São Paulo, Brazil. I got to know AntiX through a dear and esteemed friend, Marcelo Cripe. He has been a great supporter and my tutor. He showed me the distribution, taught me how to prepare the pen drive and how to install it. We live in distant cities, several kilometers away, however it did not stop him from multiplying knowledge and spreading it in a beneficial way, even if by phone or internet. He has spoken to me very well about the community and it has been a long time since he has been motivating me to write to you, but due to lack of time and some personal difficulties, I ended up taking longer than expected.
Right from the start, I identified with the system and the little I saw and learned was enough to admire it. I will be very honored and pleased to continue learning from Marcelo and all of you, if that is possible.
I would like to point out that the facts of the distribution being made available free of charge, being very accessible and the possibility of rescuing equipment that over time became obsolete with other Operating Systems, caught my attention. I have been working with technology for a few years and occasionally receive donations, old computers that would be discarded and since the beginning of my journey in the area, I had some ideas for social projects: using these machines that are of no interest to anyone to teach, with no financial return, people (more specifically children) who do not have access to computers or difficulties in use. AntiX made me kind of hope that one day, maybe, it might work.
Marcelo tells me how the community is engaged, committed to sharing knowledge and capricious in caring for ideals. Please accept my sincere congratulations. I hope that the words are well translated and that they convey the good emotions with which I write them.

Antes da minha apresentação, antecipo minhas desculpas caso alguma palavra ou frase saia fora de contexto ou passe alguma impressão ruim, pois não domino o idioma inglês e tenho que traduzir através do Google Tradutor.
Meu nome é Matheus Motareli, moro em uma cidade do Estado de São Paulo, Brasil. Conheci o AntiX através de um estimado e querido amigo, Marcelo Cripe. Ele tem sido um grande incentivador e meu tutor. Me mostrou a distribuição, me ensinou a preparar o pen drive e a instalá-lo. Moramos em cidades distantes, a vários km de distância, entretanto não o impediu de multiplicar o conhecimento e o propagar de forma benéfica, mesmo que por telefone ou internet. Ele tem me falado muito bem da comunidade e faz um bom tempo que ele vem me motivando a escrever para vocês, mas por falta de tempo e algumas dificuldades pessoais, acabei demorando mais que o previsto.
Logo de início me identifiquei com o sistema e o pouco que vi e aprendi, já foi o suficiente para admirá-lo. Terei muita honra e prazer em continuar aprendendo com o Marcelo e com todos vocês, se assim for possível.Gostaria de ressaltar que me chamaram muito a atenção os fatos de a distribuição ser disponibilizada gratuitamente, sendo muito acessível e a possibilidade de resgatar equipamentos que com o tempo, se tornaram obsoletos com outros Sistemas Operacionais. Trabalho com tecnologia há poucos anos e ocasionalmente recebo doações, computadores antigos que iriam ser descartados e desde o começo de minha jornada na área, eu tinha algumas ideias de projetos sociais: usar essas máquinas que não interessam a ninguém para ensinar, sem retorno financeiro, pessoas (mais especificamente crianças) que não tenham acesso à computadores ou dificuldades na utilização. O AntiX me fez acender uma esperança de que um dia, talvez, isso possa dar certo.

I hope that as the group of you use the distribution some people may eventually be able to assist with language translation as new releases are developing in the future.

It is a daily challenge to understand the translations and to have to adapt the texts to make complete sense in Brazilian Portuguese. In addition to the language difficulties, I type extremely slowly.
I also have a great esteem for you and despite the long distance that separates us, whenever possible we talk by phone, email or instant messenger.
You affectionately called me “tutor”, here I also already have some excellent tutors or teachers, among them, the friends who received you before me, sir. Brian, Xecure and the PPC.
I very much hope that you will become an antiX multiplier in your city and nearby cities. And who knows in the future, that you can help others to become multipliers of antiX. I multiply antiX in the metropolitan region of São Paulo and you in your region.

Você já sabe que eu possuo as mesmas dificuldades em não dominar o idioma inglês e depender dos tradutores da internet para poder me comunicar com os colegas e amigos daqui do fórum do antiX. Eu sou muito grato a todos os colegas e amigos daqui do antiX por compreenderem as nossas dificuldades e nos aceitarem aqui no fórum.
É um desafio diário compreender as traduções e ter que adaptar os textos para fazerem sentido completo em Português do Brasil. Além das dificuldades quanto ao idioma, eu digito extremamente lento.
Eu também possuo grande estima por você e apesar da longa distância que nos separa, sempre que possível conversamos por telefone, e-mail ou por mensageiro instantâneo.
Você me chamou carinhosamente de “tutor”, aqui eu também já tenho alguns excelentes tutores ou professores, entre eles, os amigos que receberam você antes de mim, sr. Brian, Xecure e o PPC.
Eu desejo muito que você se torne um multiplicador do antiX na sua cidade e nas cidades próximas. E quem sabe no futuro, que você possa ajudar outras pessoas a se tornarem multiplicadores do antiX. Eu multiplico o antiX na região metropolitana de São Paulo e você na sua região.
Com o antiX poderemos, além de salvar computadores antigos, combater a pirataria e nos desvencilhar da “prisão”, ou o que eu costumo dizer, que já retirei do “cabresto que tapava os meus olhos” chamado de Windows.

Se os nossos ideais nos uniu, agora temos o antiX para permitir que os nossos anseios se tornem concretos. É difícil de acreditar, mas é verdade, o antiX é gratuito e original. Bem como, a ajuda ou suporte neste fórum.

Welcome Matheus! We are glad to have you here in the antiX forum. Marcelo has been a good contributor and has impressed us all with his communication skills. We welcome all from Sao Paulo and all of Brazil. Anything I can do to help you use antiX I will. I am a user like you and Marcelo and I have many old computers in my collection that I use antiX on. Many are as old as twenty years.
My language is English. So I am pleased you can share with us through the google translator.

Fortunately skidoo doesn’t have his skidoo out and about all of the time and he straightens me out when my details are scrable or scrambled.
