Readers will wonder whether your menu file now ACTUALLY contains
one or more “unicode multiplication sign” characters…
or ascii “x” characters.

You can now (you should) save a backup copy of the menu file you edited,
then run this command to restore the “Day1 original, as distributed” menu file:

cp /etc/skel/.icewm/menu ~/.icewm/menu

Afterward, you can compare your revised menufile side-by-side with the original.
