only 624Mb/32Gb RAM used (32 bit antiX 21)?

Hi, I am a huge fan of antiX and use it for teaching and research (http://www.lababi.bioprocess.org/index.php/14-sample-data-articles/78-massypup).

Now I am trying version 21, 32 bit (for running it on old machines).
– It runs great on a 10-year Acer one with 1 Gb RAM.
– But on a 32 Gb RAM gaming laptop (Lenovo Legion), only 624 Mb RAM is used.

Is there any explanation for that? Can I fix this?

Either install a 686-pae kernel or use the x64 version.

Thanks for your quick answer, @anticapitalista!
The 64-bit version indeed shows all the RAM. It boots and runs really fast, even better than my Pop OS!
Just a pity that I cannot use the 32-bit version for every machine.

BTW: If you are looking for new version names: Here in Mexico we have an extreme case of 43 students that were kidnapped and probably killed. The case was in 2014, and the investigation goes slow since politicians are involved…

You can use the 32 bit version if you install a 686-pae kernel.

Hi, I installed the 5.10.57-antix.1-686-smp-pae kernel and it runs like hell – with 32 Gb RAM!
BTW: The official Debian linux-image-686-pae froze my computer during boot-up …
