I am trying to install Open Drive listed under ‘Network’ in Package Installer. However after multiple tries I am still unsuccessful. Install appears to start apt-get but then just hangs. antiX 19.2, of course…
Any help will be greatly appreciated.Live antiX Boot Options (Previously posted by Xecure):

::Starnge. It also hangs on me. When trying to then use the terminal it says dpkg is locked.
Reboot and try it manually. All instructions are in the /usr/share/packageinstaller-pkglist/odrive.pm
I will post them here for you in case you cannot find them.
Open a terminal and paste:wget https://github.com/liberodark/ODrive/releases/download/0.2.1/odrive_0.2.1_amd64.deb sudo apt-get install ./odrive_0.2.1_amd64.deb rm odrive_0.2.1_amd64.debantiX Live system enthusiast.

Thank you Xecure!
Looks like a dependency problem:
$ sudo apt-get install ./odrive_0.2.1_amd64.debWe trust you have received the usual lecture from the local System
Administrator. It usually boils down to these three things:#1) Respect the privacy of others.
#2) Think before you type.

Can you shed some light on what repo mirror worked?

I am not really sure which is being selected. When I launch a live system in a VM, the first thing I do after changing keyboard layout is to launch Repo manager and auto-select fastest mirror for antiX and Debian repos. As I don’t live in the USA it usually selects some European mirror, but I really don’t pay attention to which. After that I update and upgrade the live system.
odrive : Depends: libappindicator1 but it is not installable
It is definitely a Debian mirror issue, as Debian lists this package in their site:

Thanks for identifying this. I will try to VPN connect to Europe (I think Frankfurt should be good choice) and see if it works this time.
