      on an external forum there was some need for help with a mt7601u wlan driver. On the web I found this discussion and solution
      https://github.com/kuba-moo/mt7601u/issues/64#issuecomment-324894792

      perhaps it is possible to include this as a patch in the next version of the antiX kernels

              the user (created his account just for this question) on the other forum gave no feedback and probably never visited it again.
              Sorry for that. I think, the patch is useful nevertheless, as there seem to be around many sticks with this problematic chips.
