pcmanfm cannot see other partitions

      Hi all,
      I just installed Antix Syd hoping to learn more about Fluxbox. (I’d actually prefer to have the option of installing FB alone rather than with the others, but that’s for another topic… Updates completed.

      The built-in Space file manager can see, mount, and use other partitions on my system, but i prefer pcmanfm. I installed pcman and it seems to work fine except i cannot get it to see other partitions. I set it to show other devices, but when i attempt to do so i am not authorized. Any suggestions appreciated!

        Hi,
        you maybe need gvfs for pcmanfm.
        Also you can try to start pcmanfm from terminal with
        dbus-launch pcmanfm

          Hi, and thanks!

          gvfs install made no difference, but the dbus-launch pcmanfm does allow me to see and mount my other partitions.
