Hi.. I have antiX running in VirtualBox with Win10 Pro as host. All seems well but I cannot see how to permanently set antiX to run at 1920×1080. I can change screen res using the antiX Control Centre/Set Screen Resolution(ARandR) but this only lasts during the current session.
A kick in the ankle followed by a little enlightenment would be much appreciated 🙂

I would recommend using the virtualbox-guest-utils service so it can auto-adjust the resolution depending on the window size. Once installed (already installed on antiX base and full)
        sudo service virtualbox-guest-utils start
to start the service and, if nothing happens,
        VBoxClient --vmsvga &
to start the VBoxClient auto-resolution program

For your specific case (if you DONT want auto-resolution), when using the program you mention (arandr), select to save the layout (for example, as default.sh in the default .screenlayout folder), and add this to the second line (under #!/bin/bash) in your startup file (Control Centre > Session > User Desktop-Session – startup):

        # Set the screen resoultion at startup
        $HOME/.screenlayout/default.sh

        EDIT: Other method – https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/changing-screen-resolution/
