Forum › Forums › Official Releases › antiX-21/22 “Grup Yorum” › Personal remaster loses Language setting SOLVED
Personal remastering,
After remaster, on reboot language timezone keyboard settings all reverted to US english,
tested again this morning, confirmed.
Irritating for users so be good to have fixed, we do expect that for a general remaster
which does not keep personal settings.
Is this in UEFI boot of antiX 21 live? If you don’t save the language and keyboard config on the live boot advanced options, it will be asked on every session and, worst case scenario, it will load the default US language/keyboard layout.
For keyboard layout there is no workaround. You NEED to set it up and save it in the boot screen. For language, desktop-session will ignore the system language configuration if you set it up with locale-antix (non-sudo).
Please, check to see if it is saved and then let us know if a remaster resets it or not.

General Live Boot Parameters for antiX.
Thanks xecure
Yes running live 64 bit uefi runit, uefi as most users need it that way, I do though put 32 bit on a box
if low ram and none available or already at max.
Keep Language timezone and keyboard:
Save grub text menus option included previously changed keyboard and timezone settings.
I just did a remaster, will test a couple of times to ensure reliable but problem solved.
Just not so obvious which setting to use.
