These are the messages I get when I try to install Private Internet Access VPN client via antiX Package Installer:

      running cmd: "dpkg --get-selections | grep -v deinstall | cut -f1"
      running cmd: "apt-get update"
      running cmd: "x-terminal-emulator -T 'Installing packages...' -e apt-get install --reinstall piavpn-downloader-installer "
      running cmd: "if [ -x /usr/share/pia-downloader-installer/install_piavpn.sh ]; then\n/usr/share/pia-downloader-installer/install_piavpn.sh\nfi\n"
      running cmd: "dpkg --get-selections | grep -v deinstall | cut -f1"

When I try the installer that I download from their webpage it installs without a problem.

Thanks – hopefully next upgrade to repos will fix this bug.

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

Have you found a solution to this problem? I had nothing loaded the last time I wanted to connect a VPN program.

If you actually want help on this, I’m thinking you should introduce yourself and describe your VPN problem with a lot more detail with a new post in the New User forum: https://www.antixforum.com/forums/forum/new-users/new-users-and-general-questions/

Reviving a 2-year-old dead thread like this one to ask a non-specific question isn’t likely to get you much assistance.

You should also read the instructions on how to search this forum for solutions and how to ask for help in this thread: https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/how-to-search-for-a-solution-when-you-have-a-antix-problem/
