ytfzf keeps a list of every search and every view.

      Thumbnail cache very interesting/revealing/dangerous
depending on situation or who is searching it.

Depending on browser and settings, cache can contain
months of history and huge amounts of rubbish.

You can just delete browser caches, they will be recreated
      on next start.

Simple scan log can be several MB

Hi, @ModdIt pointed out troubles with cache in the past; I believe he meant its increasing size in time and he mentioned that you may set your browser to restrict caching or delete when closed.
E.g. Firefox -> Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Cookies and Site Data.

BTW, I recently read about KDE application ‘Sweeper’ that may clear sensitive data of similar kind, see https://apps.kde.org/sweeper/
It does have an install candidate in my antiX-testing but I have not tested it, hence I have no idea what directories/log-files are covered and whether it is possible to easily configure to include more of such items.
Dry-run/Simulated installation reveals the expected pulling-in a lot of (KDE-related?) dependencies, you may try it yourself:
        apt-get install -s sweeper

Perhaps, some other users are aware of a leaner and meaner tool to do such a job.

Found some of the old posts, useful.

A move to cache script can be modified for other browsers. Done.

          Exerpts.
          chrome://flags
          in UngoogledChromium you can set,

Clear data on exit to enabled

Except, as intended it does not clear everything because:
The user thinks chrome is the fastest browser as it loads pre visited pages from cache whenever
          possible.
All browsers are slower on first page loads or with a fresh profile/cache as all data must come
          from the network.

Unless set otherwise chrome cache will be kept for about 1.5 years, source google documentation.

For anyone interested Gibson researche has some good tools for browser and firewall effectivity checks.
