      Hello.

Can you tell me if there is a planned EOL for each antiX release?
For how long time I can consider an antiX release as supported and with repository updated? Is there a link with Debian?

Furthermore 32 bit distribution will be granted for long? At least until Debian will deploy 32 bit ones?

Thank you in advance for a reply.

We follow Debian’s EOL (on the whole)

antiX-13 – wheezy-based – support ends 31st May 2018 (Repos will be kept alive, but there will be no upgrades – basically it is like that now)
        antiX-15/16 – jessie-based – support ends end of April 2020
        antiX-17 – stretch-based – support ends June 2022

        See: Debian EOL/LTS

We will provide 32 bit for at least as long as Debian does.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

          hello anticapitalista,
What about testing or sid dates or is that unknown
          until they are stable?

sid is always sid (just like in Debian – sort of rolling) ie never ‘stable’
testing is always testing (just like in Debian – also sort of rolling except see below)

When Debian releases the next stable, they freeze testing.
At this time, what is in antiX testing repo will also be put into our new stable repo called Buster.

            Hope that helps

yes it does. I am running sid on 32-bit and testing on 64-bit.
It also helped me on what Buster was.
