Currently, it seems that LVM is not included on the install image. One can configure the network and then install LVM, but it would be convenient if it were available already, since installation frequently involves complex partitioning.
It would be even better if a tool like gparted had LVM support built-in, but it would suffice to have lvm2 pre-installed.
This is only a suggestion. Thank you.

Interesting request. Since I have not seen any reply to this from an authoritative antiX rep, my conjecture is:
– Inclusion of LVM2 would entail installation of libelogind0, which would be contrary to current antiX architecture to be systemd/elogind-free, starting antiX 22.
– If it is possible to re-configure LVM install to not require installation of libelogind0, this would require such decision from the antiX owner, anticapitalista, to develop a workaround.
If you have a suggestion how to install LVM2 without libelogind0, I would be interested as well…Live antiX Boot Options (Previously posted by Xecure):

It may have originated earlier but now, when you try to install LVM2 it entails installation of libelogind0, which is against antiX’ strategy. Starting with antiX 21 any later version of antiX is designed to be *elogind*-free. Elogind is just another manifestation of systemd concept.
Having said the above however, anticapitalista who is the owner of antiX, has been spending lots of effort to modify various parts of Linux architecture components and apps to be systemd/elogind – free. Even yesterday I noticed quite a few new components modified. So it is possible lvm2 will be on the plate at some point also.
If you really do need lvm you could just install it, along with libelogind0 as a dependent.
In my case, although I would like lvm2 as well, my keeping antiX systemd/elogind – free is more important as I dislike the philosophy (and politics) of systemd to take central control powers and beating into submission more and more individual components and apps.Live antiX Boot Options (Previously posted by Xecure):
