Bonjour,

::Is this ROX, your custom desktop session or some other desktop-icon manager?
It just launches on my tablet with rox managing the desktop. The icon manager is PCManFM, the window manager (does nothing) is Openbox. Do you think it’s the icon manager which does that? If so I perhaps should switch for iDesk (https://sourceforge.net/projects/idesk/). 😄
(Which might reveal complicated when some icons are only desired while running in live mode).
The edition in which it happens is ready to use and available here : https://downloads.linuxvillage.org – it is the amd64 version – and in order to avoid this behavior with the Install launcher I have made it a link to the actual desktop file as a turn-around.Still I would love to know a way to fix it properly.

::I haven’t tested AppImages, but I remember that pcmanfm had an option to not ask when running an executable. See if Edit > Preferences > General has any box un-ticked with something similar to “Don’t ask when running executables”. This should change the behavior on both desktop and in pcmanfm window.
It is always important to mention the program you are using to figure out if there is already an option there. Each desktop icon manager is different and has different options.

Yes! That was it! Thanks a lot, I had dragged this for some time now, not figuring how I could even search the web for it. It’s fixed, and on its way for new rebuilds : thanks again a lot!
