I am using Antix testing 17.2. When I try to install something in the terminal using apt, I receive the following error:
apt: relocation error: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libapt-private.so.0.0: symbol _ZN3URIcvNSt7__cxx1112basic_stringIcSt11char_traitsIcESaIcEEEB5cxx11Ev version APTPKG_5.0 not defined in file libapt-pkg.so.5.0 with link time reference
1st. I’d check and make sure these are in /etc/apt
harry@biker:~
$ cd /etc/apt
harry@biker:/etc/apt
$ ls
apt.conf preferences.d trustdb.gpg trusted.gpg~
apt.conf.d sources.list.d trusted.gpg trusted.gpg.d
