Thanks for that tip.

I am using Pipewire (rather than PulseAudio) with Pavucontrol. I will have to check on that machine to see if that file exists (or might be creatable).

@oparun – try installing libpam-ck-connector and/or libpam-elogind reboot and see (I assume you are using default slimski login manager).
