      Hi again, all.

This isn’t a big issue, but I was just wondering about something to do with zzz FM.

I couldn’t help but notice that it always starts at the last session, whatever it was, when you open it.

Is that unchangeable? Or can to set it to always open at, say, your home folder?

It’s not important. But I just wanted to know if you could set its default starting behaviour.

      Thanks in advance!

What have the Romans ever done for us?
Apart from: sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, fresh water, and public health?

file:///usr/share/doc/zzzfm/zzzfm-manual-en.html contains the current zzzfm documentation.
I didn’t happen to spot anything specific about how to always start zzzfm in exactly the same location, but it may be there.
Note there are multiple views you can set up; you might want to experiment with them too.

          I’d suggest

          1. setup the tabs the way you want, then exit zzzfm
          2. go back into zzzfm and uncheck Save tabs from the file menu

Yes, there are other ways…. Check the command line options.

In home/yourusername/.config/zzzfm you will find a file called session-last
            Further option
If you delete all session* files in .config/zzfm, zzzFM will be reset to factory defaults

If you do not want to reuse last session you could put a delete line for that file
            in /.desktop-session/startup

If nothing else, you can always just call zzzfm with the folder you want to open
              zzzfm $HOME

                zzzfm $HOME --no-saved-tabs
