I have installed and ran both 32 and 64 bit antix17-full and was
wondering why or how come xfburn is in accesories on a live cd
run but isn’t there after installing. I had to run from a
      terminal.

After installing. If not in sound and video in the menu . Have you used the antix control center to add it to your personal or menu section of your choice? The edit menus button?

I did put a shortcut there, but it is easier for me to hit run and type it in.
I was only wondering because it happened on both installs.

You can maybe first try to reinstall xfburn.

Yes, I too noticed that xfburn was missing from the Sound and Video menu, reinstalling the app did the trick.

I didn’t find Xfburn anywhere ether although when I tried to install Xfburn it kicked out lastest version xfburn already installed so I opened terminal and typed in xfburn and it opened so it is there just ain’t no icon anywhere and I can live with that.

                      Try
                      sudo apt-get --reinstall install xfburn

Should bring an entry in menu.

                        Hey caprea,

I entered the command you posted and did a restart and it worked I now have a menu entry for Xfburn.

                        Thanks for posting that.

Brian, can you please explain where you see a potential defect for development and release updates.
Before and after the reinstall it shows
