Hello Community,
I really love what you guys did with the .bashrc by adding your own personal colored touch to it.
Now what I like to do, is to mix a bit of both worlds.
I would like to have traditional bash prompt. Which looks like.user@host:~# and with your personal color theme which continues all the way into the system.
Like even into nano.
Could someone please tell me which bits of the .bashrc I need to take across into my own personal .bashrc ?
Thx,blub4747
This will give you user@host:~# export PS1=’\u@\h:\\$\w\[$(tput sgr0)\]’
But you can make your own prompt make your own prompt
Just drop this to a prompt to see what it looks like PS1=’\u@\h:\\$\w\[$(tput sgr0)\]’
