antiX 17.4.1 32-bit. I’ve got a laptop on a wired connection at home. When on the road, it’ll obviously be wireless. Is there a quick-n-dirty way to switch back-and-forth, hopefully without rebooting? E.g. on Gentoo linux from a commandline (as root)
Any client app should take care of that for you easily. Wicd, Ceni, NetworkManager, etc. Just open and select you connection.

I have some notes on this, but not sure if it works.
Use Terminal to bring connection down and up for wireless:
if down wlan0
or
if up wlan0
(substitute eth0 for wired connection)
Dell Latitude D620 laptop with antiX 22 (64 bit)
I use Ceni. It scans for wireless access points and then I just use tab and enter keys to connect. It works for me.
