Hi, I’ve been testing Mx-Fluxbox and noticed it had no “recent files” menu, because Fluxbox does not allow for dynamic menus (like iceMW does).
So I wrote a tiny yad script that shows the recent files on a window. Just double click and the file is opened.
If anyone wants to use this funtionality, simply save the script naming it, for example recent_files.sh, paste the code into the file, save it, make it executable, make it also a hidden file (adding a dot before the name of the file) so it doesn’t show up on the recent files list.
Then create a Menu entry to run that script, and you are set!
Link to the script (I didn’t paste it here, because usually the code gets mangled by the forum software)

You might want to discuss this in the fluxbox chatroom if you feel so disposed 🙂
