Assim que for possível eu poderei fazer mais testes com a paca de vídeo GeForce4 MX 440 AGP 8x, se eu conseguir instalar o xserver-xorg-video-nvidia-legacy-340xx ou xserver-xorg-video-nvidia-legacy-390xx (eu não sei qual dos dois será compatível com a GeForce4 MX 440 AGP 8x), talvez seja uma forma de solucionar o problema da resolução 800×600.
Nós teremos que aprender a instalar manualmente o que faltou nas ISOs remasterizadas com o Kernel 4.4.0-296 ou teremos que continuar utilizando as excelentes ISOs pseudo-antix-19 legacy bet3 com Kernel 4.4.0-264 que o @Xecure construiu a partir do “Build-iso”.
Por enquanto, o salvo é positivo, dos 5 computadores que eu testei, apenas 1 computador não funcionou perfeitamente com as ISOs remasterizadas com o Kernel 4.4.0-296.
Eu agradeço a todos por me ajudarem com os testes.

the nouveau Xorg driver from loading.I setup a Intel Pentium 4 Pc tower with a Nvidia-FX-5200 AGP card and have it loading the nouveau Xorg
driver after installing the 4.4-remaster iso by doing this:1. sudo apt update and upgrade
2. Create the file
/etc/modprobe.d/nouveau.confwith the lines
blacklist fbdev blacklist nvidiafb3. run these as root user in a terminal. They take a few minutes to complete.
depmod -aupdate-initramfs -u4. Created and renamed the text file that’s attached as.
/etc/X11/xorg.conf5. rebooted the computer.
now it loads the nouveau at full 1680×1050 resolution on my Dell monitor. I hope it helps you get

Apparently the remastered image is well designed for the Brazilian Portuguese community.
Setting the locale to something else and possibly installing any locales necessary can make the image work for yet another locale language.
That work could be remastered for someone else…

Linuxdaddy, eu consegui voltar a ter acesso ao computador com a placa-mãe ECS 865PE-A rev 1.2 15-H70-01120 e a placa de vídeo GeForce4 MX 440 AGP 8x.
Eu não sei se consegui fazer todas as etapas corretamente, eu apliquei o comando “$ sudo apt update” e “$ sudo apt upgrade”, depois eu criei o arquivo “nouveau.conf” com o usuário root na pasta “/etc/modprobe.d/”, colei neste arquivo os textos “blacklist fbdev” e “blacklist nvidiafb” em linhas diferentes e um texto embaixo do outro, no terminal eu apliquei os comandos “depmod -a” e “update-initramfs -u”, depois eu criei o arquivo “xorg.conf” com o usuário root na pasta “/etc/X11/”, eu reinicializei o computador e obtive a tela que está na imagem:
“Teste ECS 865PE-A rev 1.2 15-H70-01120 e Video GeForce4 MX 440 AGP 8x.jpg”Os comandos e os resultado estão no arquivo de texto “Teste ECS 865PE-A rev 1.2 15-H70-01120 e Video GeForce4 MX 440 AGP 8x.txt” em anexo.
