      In ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css add the following line: (or make file gtk.css)

      undershoot.top, undershoot.right, undershoot.bottom, undershoot.left { background-image: none; }

      Or Maybe ? I have found that debian base systems don’t need the dots.

      .undershoot.top, .undershoot.right, .undershoot.bottom, .undershoot.left { background-image: none; }

      The – – – – – – – around the inside edges of the screen is meant as a feature which is scroll related. And a feature I can do without.
