Repos updates-Synaptic & Package Installer-Solved

I am using Slimjet browser v. 27.0.4.0.

I notice that there is a new version 27.0.5.0 which was made available on July 22.
I am just wondering when to expect the new version in Synatic Package Manager and Package Installer.
Generally, how often do the repos update applications.

I could also get the “.deb” file from the Slimjet website and update it that way.

Which updating approach is generally preferred.

1) I have searched the Debian packages for ‘slimjet’ on package-page using different variants; no result.
2) I have searched via
apt-cache search slimjet
which is case insensitive and it gave no results (in my installation of antiX 19.? stable).
3) I have searched in synaptic for ‘slimjet’, same results.
This means I did not find the package to be available in the Debian+antiX repositories.

Did I miss something?
How did you install the package?
Since I have failed to find it in the repository, I assume it must have been A) installed manually (or in a re-spin?) or B) by adding an additional external repository.
If A) is the case, I would suggest to acquire and install the DEB package directly from the website (if you insist on using it).
If B) is the case, then wait and see.

In the packageinstaller you can find a note here
Latest slimjet browser (run again for updates)

Looks like slimjet does not receive any automatic updates,because not part of debian repos.
You have to use the packageinstaller again.
