Xecure, I reckon the superior flexibility of your improved controlCenter is “41MB well spent” and that any noble endeavor to micromanage runtime memory overhead for this vital (er, centerpiece) program is misdirected. Ultimately, after traveling around the block, and back, I expect you’ll come ’round to discovering that python + gtk provides the most appealing framework for creating & maintaining utility GUI applications.
