Forum for users of antiX Linux. Mean and Lean and Proudly anti-fascist.
The scanbd package (scan button daemon) is dependent on libystemd0 (in stretch, not jessie). A quick glance at the sources show the package has a configure option to ignore/avoid systemd. The button on my multi-document scanner simpifies scanning large batches compared bouncing between the scanner and computer UI.
Related Questions: If not prioritized by the dev team and I get around to building a package: 1) Is there a how to?, and 2) What is the appropriate way to submit it for inclusion in antiX nosystemd repos?
I’ll see what I can do – give me some time

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.
I added a nosystemd package to the repos. Can you test and see if it works.

Working correctly: installing the package does not require systemd; daemon grabs scanner button messages (with correct configuration). Thanks.
Another satisfied customer, anti. Great job.
