I could not find a way to set it in the antix control center. How can I change the scrolling direction (natural / reverse scrolling) in antix? Thanks!

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

::I guess it would do no harm if you create it.
As always, Arch linux wiki has some suggestions.https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Touchpad_Synaptics

Worked, thanks!
I did not realise synaptics was installed by default on antix full. Easy natural scrolling with negative values for VertScrollDelta and HorizScrollDelta in the /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/synaptics.conf file.January 9, 2022 at 8:57 am #74870Member

I’m writing to this old thread to thank @jdjohn for leaving the hint to solve this issue. Based on that, I camp up with a “one-click” script to enable the reverse i.e. natural scrolling. The script is currently hosted inside my own goodie repo.
Now I wonder whether antiX would consider making that natural scrolling the default behavior. After all, it is the natural scrolling, which is already a common behavior in other major OS: Windows, Android, iOS, …. @anticapitalista et al, your thoughts?

::Hello Rayluo.
You were inspired or motivated by @jdjohn, I was motivated by you to adapt your script to receive translations for multiple languages. Please add these files to your GitHub. Your adapted script, the .pot template file for translation, the .po (editable) and .mo (to be used) translation in pt-BR language.
Thanks for creating this script.Obs.: The teachings of Robin-antiX are being very useful.

(Original text in Brazilian Portuguese)Thank you Marcelo for your response! I am humbled by your compliment.
In my opinion, that little enable_reverse_scrolling.sh script would ideally just become antiX’s default behavior, so that there would be no need to host/maintain/translate such a small script. Because it would be difficult for more users to discover such a script in the first place.
But if that ideal situation is not happening, then the next best thing is to host it inside some common antiX goodies repo, like this one: https://gitlab.com/antix-contribs/contribs-goodies/-/tree/master/
I’m willing to convert my script and Marcelo’s translation into a Pull Request (PR) to that repo, but then will there be an owner of that repo to help review and merge my PR? @PPC, @Xecure, @Robin (RobinAntix)?

Ray, today I issued a gitlab “invite”, toward adding you as a Maintainer of the “antix-goodies” repository. As a maintainer, you should gain the ability to instantly merge your changes.
Let me know if you wish Maintainer access to any additional gitlab.com/antix-contribs project repositories.
