          Sorry for posting in English:

Did you install VLC using antiX’s Package Installer?

          P.

I think VLC does not require any aditional files in order to play DVDs.

Please pay attention to this: when asking for help (no matter in what language) always state the version of antiX you are using (Ex: I’m using antiX 23 Full, 64bits, sysv, running live from a USB pen-drive (so I am not running from the antiX version I have installed in my hard drive).
This is usually needed to let people know exactly how to help you.

Installing anything from Package Installer is extremely easy – if you are using the default Desktop, IceWM, it’s the white shopping bag icon, on the toolbar. Click it and search for what you want to install (ex: VLC) it’s just like any “app store”, but without “pretty pictures”.

Try using Package Installer to make sure you have the “Non Free Video codecs” installed and then try to play your DVD using Celluloid (it should be the default media player), but VLC (correctly installed) should work…

                P.
