      Pop up message right after login;
      “No pinboard was in use… the ‘Default’ pinboard has been selected. Use ‘rox -p=Default’ to turn it on in future”

      I suppose pinboard is the desktop. How to use the suggested command in what file is not mentioned.

        Please try this, go to
        menu > control-centre > session > User Desktop-Session” > (go to the tab)desktop-session.conf
        increase the STARTUP_DELAY from “whatever” to “5”.
        Close and save.

          Well, merely running that command seems to have removed the post login message. Rox is listening? 🙂

          Thanks caprea. Please note STARTUP_DELAY is not found with “control center” as you suggested, which method opens this: ~/.desktop-session/startup. Instead STARTUP_DELAY is located in here: ~/.desktop-session/desktop-session.conf.

            Caprea did say to go to that tab. Each tab corresponds to a file.

              My control center tab did not take me to the file expected by Caprea.

                Just for for possible later use
                The user desktop session button in control-centre should lead you right here, which opens geany with 7 possible tabs.
                But nice you found it anyway.

                  Yes, that’s very useful. Geany does the job. 🙂
