      It’s the first time I try to use rtorrent and it doesn’t seem to work. The terminal output:

      $ rtorrent http://linuxtracker.org/download.php?id=35f8d1af9b52c8a0a5a1d6b1d96244bcad348a6b&f=antiX-17.1_386-core.torrent&key=6c2d037a
      [1] 2500
      [2] 2501

      Tried once again:

      $ rtorrent http://linuxtracker.org/download.php?id=35f8d1af9b52c8a0a5a1d6b1d96244bcad348a6b&f=antiX-17.1_386-core.torrent&key=6c2d037a
      [1] 2525
      [2] 2526

      No problem if using transmission-gtk.

        The rtorrent session folder may have a locked session file, if so remove it.

        antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

          I don’t find any ~/.rtorrent.session folder and, generally, I don’t find any rtorrent folder.

            Have you set up rtorrent?

              Sorry, I didn’t know I had to set it up.
              The linked tutorial says to download the configuration file from here. But, if follow the link, there’s a message that “These files are no longer available as they violated the terms of service”.
              I found one here, although it’s not the same.
              I made changes to it, as the tutorial indicates, and I also followed the rest of the tutorial instructions.
              To start downloading with rtorrent, I had first to download the torrent file to my disk. I didn’t know that, too.
              Now, it works. I suppose I can mark it as solved, despite the configuration file issue.
