I got a BA in Greek and Roman Studies at the University of Victoria, so I looked for a clip art image of a Gorgon Shield. Just because…

Lots of editing because this is the first time I’ve been messing about with imgur links and all that fun stuff.
I FINALLY got that figured out, though…

AND … for some strange reason, my Conky vanishes as soon as I click on the desktop screen – but only with IceWM and only on my Samsnung. Not a big deal, but if someone could give me a nudge in the right direction to sort that out, I would appreciate it.

Thanks for that, Robin. I was trying to do this by way of trial and error. Which REALLY means “mostly error”. (sigh)

If anyone’s wondering about the wallpapers I used; I put those together with GIMP. I searched for some images on the Internet that looked cool, and then just manipulated them until I got something that’s totally cool. Well, to my mind, anyway…

I also did much the same for the desktop icons I make.
