I searched a lot where to put this text in configuration files: export XMODIFIERS=@im=SCIM export GTK_IM_MODULE="scim" export QT_IM_MODULE="scim" scim -d I tried .bashrc, creating .xprofile .xinitrc… finally I put it in .profile scim -d says all is working I installed Anthy, Chewing, Smart Pinyin, and these three doesn’t work. I don’t know where to search, I searched a little bit on the web different solutions. I tested uim, ibus, fcitx, these all doesn’t work.
