::Hello anticapitalista,
Yes, I named that screenshot screenstest – the result is the same (nothing saved) regardless of name.
It shows what the screenshot is supposed to look like, but do not save it – then the error message show.
I cannot find any scr in the system – (there is a src listed under usr).
Problem to me seems to be where you are trying to save your screen shots.
I made the same mistake as a virgin with this distro till I figured it out.
Easy way out for me is tomkdir ScreenyThen save my screenshots in my screeny folder instead of scr.
harry@biker:~ $ cd Screeny harry@biker:~/Screeny $ ls screenshot.jpgAnyways. That is my take on this thread.

I will try your suggestion as well, rokytnji, when I get a bit more time… (Screenshot did work well in February, though.)April 20, 2018 at 12:15 am #9454MemberKenzoG
::Hello rokytnji,
Something is probably missing in your suggestion, it doesn’t accept the last command:svenskelin@antix1:~
$ mkdir Screeny
svenskelin@antix1:~
$ cd Screeny
svenskelin@antix1:~/Screeny
$ ls
svenskelin@antix1:~/Screeny
$ screenshot.jpg
bash: screenshot.jpg: kommandot finns inte
svenskelin@antix1:~/Screeny
$ ls screenshot.jpg
ls: kan inte komma åt ‘screenshot.jpg’: Filen eller katalogen finns inte
svenskelin@antix1:~/Screeny
$kan inte komma åt = cannot reach
Filen eller katalogen finns inte = the file or catalog does not existApril 20, 2018 at 4:48 am #9461Forum Admin

::Hello rokytjnji,
Maybe it is time to give up, and simply use ScreenGrab – as long as that program works 🙂Interesting anyhow is that even when folder ‘Screeny’ is chosen, ‘scr’ is mentioned in the terminal message:
svenskelin@antix1:~
$ antixscreenshot.sh
svenskelin@antix1:~
$
Here are three screenshots, courtesy of ScreenGrab: – Have a nice weekend!Attachments:

::Alrighty Then. In all my years running AntiX. I think but can’t remember for sure. This is the 1st antixscreenshot.sh thread I ever saw.
harry@biker:~ $ locate screenshot.sh /usr/local/bin/antixscreenshot.sh <snip>$ locate screenshot <snip> /home/harry/Screeny/screenshot.jpg /usr/bin/idevicescreenshot /usr/local/bin/antixscreenshot.sh <snip>Glad screengrab fit’s the bill for ya. What ever works and makes a user comfy cozy is just okey dokey as far as I am concerned. 😀
I used to use nitrogen back in AntiX in the early days. It made me comfy cozy.Sometimes I drive a crooked road to get my mind straight.

::Since scr is mentioned a bunch . I never thought about it. I saved a screenshot there in the early days. Like you I went. ” Where did it go? ”
Anyways. I found this link that explains /tmp and /scr . Take it with a grain of salt however. I looked just now for a scr folder . I sure can’t locate it with the find command and locate fills terminal till it is overfull with readouts.
