      Hi,
on my upgrade to antiX 21, I have 2 problems with Seamonkey:
      1. I cannot put Seamonkey in french
      2. I cannot upgrade to seamonkey last version

For point 1 (in french) seamonkey does not react as indicated in tutos (no list of languages proposed):
. I installed palemoon and put it in french through about:config.
. I did the same with seamonkey, but putting the language parameter in french in about:config did not change anything.

      For point 2:
. method 1: I am surprised that “apt update/upgrade’ does not put seamonkey in the last version
. method 2: through ‘sudo apt install seamonkey’, I got an answer telling me that the last version was installed, and I remember that seamonkey was in this last version, but it returned in the old version when restarted. I understand that this last sentence will decrease my credibility, but…
. method 3: I could not go through the ‘installation’ method proposed on the page displayed by the old version, but just forget this point for the moment

      Thanks for your help

seamonkey is not in the Debian repos, but is added to the antiX repos (English only). When we have time, we upgrade as soon as we can to the latest upstream.

About localisation – have you tried what was suggested by Xecure in this thread?

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.
