          Not much to report yet. I’ve begun wading through the code of various SLiM v1.3.4 forks and haven’t found any significant bugfix changes.
          Most of the changes beyond the already mature (and stable) 1.3.4 represent “like teats on a bull” changes, e.g.
          “shoehorn ‘lockscreen’ functionality into SLiM ~~ show a popup lock image and/or beep if wrong password is entered”
