I don’t know how to delete posts either, I think if you want to delete this thread you will need to ask a moderator.

Eu também não sei como apagar postagens, acho que se você quiser apagar este tópico precisará pedir a um moderador.

::Moderators can delete posts and even an entire thread.
Do you want this thread deleted? [Yes, No]
You can also send us the link to the post or thread to be deleted. A moderator can then delete it.
Thanks--

You can use the code button once before your code and once after.

::Thanks for your reply. I tried the CODE button but got only ticks that didn’t seem to work encompassing practice code.

::Thanks for your reply Brian. This thread now has two issues (including the CODE issue) I’ll send a note to you or another moderator and ask that this tread be deleted when the CODE issue is resolved (or, maybe, sooner).

::Yes, it looks like tick marks at first but after publishing the text appears in code boxes.

::Yes, it looks like tick marks at first but after publishing the text appears in code boxes.
For instance:
# ~/.bashrc: executed by bash(1) for non-login shells. # see /usr/share/doc/bash/examples/startup-files (in the package bash-doc) # for examples # If not running interactively, don't do anything case $- in *i*) ;; *) return;; esacI copied a few lines from the .bashrc script, pasted them here, highlighted the section containing the code, then I pressed the CODE button.
Before submitting this, the code is surrounded on the outer boundaries by quotation.
