By chance, is there a place to see a “list” of included packages in current AntiX release ISOs?
Just curiosity; it’d serve as perhaps a more “direct” reference…Thanks again.

Someone else can please followup.
Use the cut command to grab the first column of instpkgs-a21x64-base_sysv.txt
and pipe the output to the sort command and save to a new file e.g. BaseSorted.txtThen use the cut command to grab the first column of instpkgs-a21x64-core_sysv.txt
and pipe the output to the sort command and save to a new file e.g. CoreSorted.txtThen generate the diff list using the following command:
comm -2 -3 BaseSorted.txt CoreSorted.txt > inBASEnotinCORE.txtDecember 30, 2021 at 7:36 pm #74185Anonymous

::Thanks very much everyone for your help.
At least I also learned how to manually get it.
Hope I didn’t bother more…Just as comment, I kind of expected package “apt-file” to be included by default in AntiX full; because it seems quite used for querying information about non-installed packages.

::Please note: The lists of installed packages are only useful for performing a quick comparison.
They do not convey the “whole story” ~~ during the build-iso process, many NON-packaged, edition-specific, files (icons, scripts, configuration files) are injected. You cannot confidently “install a Base edition ISO” and then just install some/all of the “the inFullNOTinBase” packages to achieve a satisfactory result.
For this reason, across years I have coached (often in the face of contradictory advise from others):
it’s preferable to start with FULL edition and remove unwanted items, toward a slimmed yet more complete than Base edition result. Here you can note the (many) additional, or customized, non-packaged copies of files which build-iso injects for the Full edition:
https://gitlab.com/antiX-Linux/Build-iso/-/tree/master/Themes/full/misc
and here, files and directories which are copied into place by build-iso (in some cases intentionally overwriting as-shipped files placed by installation of various packages) when (and only if) the Full edition ISO is being generated:

along with apt-file, I have formed the habit of immediately installing apt-listchanges.
Here’s its manpage: https://manpages.debian.org/bullseye/apt-listchanges/apt-listchanges.1.en.html -
